Lizzy Parks started her musical career playing the clarinet and saxophone and went on to discover her voice at the age of 11.
Having graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire jazz course she worked as a session artist on various recordings including Chris Bowden’s ‘Slightly Askew’ and in 2005 she released her debut album ‘Watching Space’.
Her most recent release, ‘Raise The Roof’, is a deep orchestral soul and jazz record which showcases Lizzy’s stylistic combination of retro jazz, boogie soul and ambient experimental music.
In 2009 Lizzy supported the Quantic Soul Orchestra at London’s Roundhouse.
