First formed in 2006 within the bowels of Birmingham Conservatoire Moon Unit has exploded into a raucous 7-piece ensemble featuring the best of Birmingham’s young jazz scene.
Lead by trumpeter Aaron Diaz the group follow influences as far-a-field as Miles, Ornette, Zappa and Beefheart.
