Formed in 2005 and with a new line-up as of 2006, The Getup make original funky Hammond led tunes with a retro element. The band cites many influences including the James Taylor Quartet, Charles Earland, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai and Breakestra. The Getup will be performing as quartet.
