Keith York is a session drummer with over twenty years professional experience playing every genre of music from rock to jazz. He has toured and recorded in over 40 countries playing with a huge range of artists including The Lightning Seeds, Ladyton, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Ananda Shankar and Pitchshifter. Keith is currently working with
legendary ambient jazz/funk fusioneers The Orb.
Career highlights include headlining The Glastonbury Festival and appearances on Top of the Pops and Later with Jools Holland.
Mostly Jazz welcomes The Keith York Quintet which boasts the cream of Birmingham musicians, Keith is especially happy to have his dear friend Dutch Lewis on sax. Dutch is a hugely talented multi instrumentalist who at 70 years young has played with the very best in jazz over the decades.
