Luke Kennard

Luke Kennard writes and publishes poetry and short stories. His second collection of poetry The Harbour Beyond the Movie was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection in 2007. Having grown up in a house full of books Luke originally hoped to write a science-fiction epic. He was drawn in to contemporary poetry whilst at Exeter University. He holds a PhD in English and currently lectures in creative writing at the University of Birmingham.
