Eight-piece gypsy swing ensemble Manouche perform specially arranged works of Django Reinhardt and other swing classics from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. The energetic performances breathe new life into already lively numbers, with electrifying results.
Manouche also have their own up-beat compositions, which fuse elements of Electro Swing, dance beats, and surf guitar. Their fire-bellied shows have raised roofs all around the UK, and if festivals like Glastonbury, Bestival and Shambala had roofs, their performances there would have raised those too.
