Mostly Jazz - Three Step Manoeurve

Three Step Manoeuvre  came together through a shared love of the classic organ trio line-up, and the music of funk pioneers like James Brown and The Meters, jazz legends such as Jimmy Smith and John Scofield, and modern groups including Lettuce and Soulive.

They released  debut EP in 2014, and have since performed all over the UK, with gigs including the renowned Cheltenham Jazz Festival, as well as an amazing residency at the much-missed Yardbird in Birmingham.

November 2016 saw the release of their first full album, Three Step Strut, featuring special guests Gareth Lockrane on flute and Cherise Adams-Burnett on vocals. It perfectly sums up their approach to funk music – grounded in the old-school sound they love, but fresh, fun and accessible to audiences everywhere.

Three Step Manoeuvre are:

Ben Lee – Guitar

David Ferris – Organ

Oscar Reynolds – Drums
