Food & Drink

Purity Brewery Company, based in Studley, Warwickshire will again be providing the festival with their award winning ale and imported lagers. This year there will be one well stocked bar with ale available in 4 pint plastic containers to cut down on those trips to the bar. To keep our plastic waste to a minimum we’ve had rigid plastic pint glasses made for the event. We ask you to buy one for £1 and to reuse it throughout the weekend, we’ve seen this work well at other festivals and we think it’s a practical solution to litter. Alternatively, if you fancy a cocktail you won’t go thirsty either.

We also have excellent on site catering ranging from Vegetaria’s falafels to the Great British Sausage Company’s bangers. Both endeavour to use fair trade products and wherever possible environmentally responsible packaging. Plus Hall’s Dorset Smokery will be serving a great range of ‘pimped’ wraps and bagels, and there will be further hearty food on offer. For those of you with a sweet tooth Shepherd’s Ice Cream will be serving up some suitably summery treats.

If you can’t find anything to your taste, Moseley High Street has a variety of excellent restaurants and fast food outlets as well as a large Sommerfield outlet and a Sainsbury’s Local just opposite the festival entrance.

Furthermore, you’re welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks. We politely ask you not to bring glass or alcohol into the festival. This is due to both health & safety and for licensing reasons. We have to be strict about this so please don’t be offended if our stewards ask to check your bag.
