Can I buy a ticket on the day?
Tickets for 2017 sold out so there were no tickets available on the door. We expect this to happen for 2018 as well. Therefore, we are advising anyone who is planning to attend Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul to purchase their tickets well in advance. However, if the event isn’t sold out at the time of doors opening there will be a small allocation available.
I have an E-ticket. What do I need to do?
If you purchased a ticket online from our ticket shop you will have been sent an E-ticket by email immediately after purchase. All you need to do is print it out or bring it on your phone (please ensure the barcode is visible), bring your confirmation email including the order number, and valid ID or proof of address.
Help! My tickets haven’t arrived!
If you ordered online from our ticket shop, you should have been sent an E-ticket immediately after purchase (see above). If you have not received it please check your Spam folder in the first instance. You can download your tickets at any time by logging in to My Account and viewing your order where you will find a button to download your tickets. If you are still having trouble then email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Ticket not arrived’ in the subject heading.
What are my travel options?
Travelling to the festival from Birmingham city centre is easy. Catch the number 50 Bus opposite Moor Street Station (outside Selfridges) and get off in Moseley Village, right opposite the park. It takes roughly 15 minutes. You can read through our travel info page for more options and details: http://mostlyjazz.co.uk/visitor-info/travel/
When is my favourite band playing?
Exact timings will be provided in the festival program and clearly displayed throughout the festival. The first band will start at approx 1pm on Friday and at 11am on Saturday & Sunday. The last act starts at approx. 9pm each evening. Once announced, the line-up page will list all acts, what day they are performing and what stage they are on. Typically, performances alternate between the Main Stage and Second Stage.
What facilities are available for disabled visitors?
The festival site has a disabled viewing area and easy access toilets. However, please be aware that in places there is uneven ground and tree roots on the paths.
What is not allowed on site?
Gazebos and tents are not permitted. However, the use of camping chairs is permitted towards the back of the park, this area will be clearly signposted. Due to licensing restrictions you are also not permitted to bring your own alcohol on site, please do not be offended if we ask to search your bags. Any alcohol found will be disposed of. Same goes for any glassware.
Children at the festival.
All children under 16 must attend the festival with an adult – please keep your children under supervision at all times. Under 12’s come for free and 12-15 year olds pay a reduced rate.
What are the festival opening/closing times?
Opening times are Friday 1pm – 10.30pm and Saturday/Sunday 11am – 10.30pm. You may come and go between these times if you are wearing a valid wristband.
I have bought a ticket for the wrong day/wrong festival, want a refund or have lost my ticket.
If you have accidentally purchased the wrong ticket please email email@example.com. Please note we are unable to refund/upgrade/downgrade tickets under any circumstances. Also, we cannot replace lost physical tickets (not e-tickets) under any circumstances so please keep them safe.
